This is a timeline of various political, legal, military, social, economic and environmental events that have occurred in Southern Africa (an area that includes the states of South Africa, Lesotho, eSwatini, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Malawi and Mozambiqe) that are relevant to libertarian socialism.

1900s

  • 1935: Copperminers' in Rhodesia (now Zambia) go on strike over safety concerns and high taxes.
