This is a timeline of various political, legal, military, social, economic and environmental events that have occurred in Southern Asia (an area including the states of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan) that are relevant to libertarian socialism.

Before Common Era

3300BCE: The Indus River Valley Civilization forms.

1700s

1730: The Bishnoi Forest Campaign sees 363 sacrifice their lives and be killed by soldiers to save a forest from destruction.^[1]

2000s

2006: The Phulbari Anti-Mine Movement begins, as environmentalists try to stop the construction of a coal mine that would pollute water sources and farmland as well as displacing thousands of people.^[2]
