- 1816: Bussa's Rebellion, the largest slave revolt in Barbadian history, occurs. Contributing to the eventual abolition of slavery.

- 1990: The Islamic extremist group Jamaat al Muslimeen attempts to overthrow the neoliberal government in Trinidad and Tobago.

- 2006: Oil workers in Aruba successfully strike for increased wages, benefits, holidays and pensions.[2]
- 2007: Citizens all over Curaçao fight against austerity, winning increased autonomy for the country and investment in social services.[3]
- 2009: Black and indigenous citizens of Guadelope rise up against colonialism and capitalism.
2010s
- 2010: Citizens in the Florida Keys organize a large mutual aid campaign to prepare for the consequences of the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.[4]
- 2015: The Anarchist Federation of Central America and the Caribbean (FACC) is formed after a conference of various anarchist groups in Santiago de los Cabaleros.[5]
