Criticism of Anarchism refers to the various critiques of anarchist politics by critics of Anarchism.

Criticism of Democracy

One way to view anarchism is that its the strongest expression of a desire to democratise almost every aspect of society, such as neighbourhoods, schools, housing and workplaces.

Friedrich Engels, writing in 1872, argued using the examples of a cotton mill, a railroad and a ship that authority is a necessary component of management, and that anarchists, with their desire to eliminate authority, would destroy modern industry.[1]
