Life

Early Life

He was born into the high-up Georgian nobility, and was sent to be educated in Russia in the 1850s.

Radicalistation

He joined the early Russian Socialist Movement, was arrested twice, jailed and exiled to Siberia. He soon escaped to Europe and joined the Jura Federation in Switzerland and befriended James Gillib, Ellis Recluse, Peter Croft, Christian Cornellis, Peter Kropotkin, Rudolf Rocker and Alexander Schapiro.

Political Activities

He wrote extensively for various radical media, focusing mainly on Georgia's freedom from Russia. He gave many speeches and started petitions to get its independence. He also signed the manifesto of the sixteen, where anarchists supported the Allies in World War I.

Death

He died in 1925.[1][2]
