The Yunnan Resistance was a small guerilla war waged by anarchists in Southern China near the border of Myanmar and Vietnam. Most of the guerillas also fought against the Japanese and Nationalists during the invasion of China, during the 1950s, it was one of the few acts of resistance to the new authoritarian socialist government. It was led by Chu Cha-pei, who was inspired by Nestor Makhno and the Black Army.
