The Chinese Protest Wave of 2007 to 2014 was a wave of strikes and protests that hit China from 2007 to 2013 over issues of workers' rights, racial discrimination, environmental protection and government corruption. Hong Kong-based China's Labour Bulletin records 2,582 strikes during this period.
