Finland is a liberal, capitalist state in Western Europe, near Sweden, Norway, Russia and Estonia.

Positives and Negatives

Positives

• Finland is a social democracy.
• Finland has a fairly liberal and effective education system.

Negatives

• Finland exports lots of weapons to countries that violate human rights and warzones, such as Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Afghanistan, India, Thailand, Israel and the United States.
• Finland has conscription for men, conscientious objectors are sent to jail.
• There is a fair bit of discrimination and wage theft against migrant workers from Estonia, China and Poland.
