Anna Kajsa Helena Langemar "Ekis" Ekman Makboul (born 25th of July 1980) is a journalist and author specializing in anti-capitalism, the financial crisis, women's rights, workplace democracy, christianity and human trafficking.

Life

Kasja was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1980. She has become an accomplished investigative journalist, writing for the Guardian and other media outlets. She has also published several books detailing the effects of human trafficking and sex work. In 2015, she was arrested by the Israeli miltiary during a pro-Gaza protest in Israel.[1]
