Strikes are a tactic used by workers for a variety of reasons that involve withdrawing labor from a workplace.

Green Bans refers to strikes undertaken by construction workers where they refuse to work on projects that hurt the environment, low-income communities or sites of cultural heritage. They were mainly undertaken in Australia in the 1970s by the Builders Laborers Federation.
